Joe, I'm reversing a previous decision about the equipment on the New Yak. I'm going with a 150L. I think it'll be fun.

Just when I've been thinking about selling mine. I've been really liking sailplane flying lately. I was going to get rid of the Yak for a 4+meter sailplane. Just keep my 91" Extra.

Thanks Cam.
I had one of the original 110's, and only sold it because I'd heard they were being discontinued.
I really want another, but we'll see when they become available. If it's not sometime shortly after the first of the year I'll probably go a different route.

If Ef is smart. The old canopies and cowl from the 110" fit the new version.
They did partner with 3dhs so hopefully their minds are clear.

If I am correct and that is a big if, the new 110" Yak is identical to the old yak other than the airframe has been redesigned and modified to use lots of carbon fiber so that it is lighter and stronger. Maybe one of the EF guys can come on here and verify that.

sure seems like 150 is a lot of oomph for a 110 wingspan. xtra - I'm another sailplane junkie.

FWIW, If the 110 is like the 91, the old 88 had a larger fuse and unforunately the canopies weren't interchangable. I still fly the 88 and had planned on buying an extra canopy and cowl but never got around to it. DA Australia seam like some great folks. Love their you tube videos.

I might get one. I thought I was taking a break and sold everything. This could bring me back.
