Hey Guys - Please note that SDS does often sell grey market stuff that can be either refurbished or rejects of QC.

Redwing RC is the official distributor of XQ servos in the US, and we warranty them ALL that are bought through us. PLease do note that we cannot warranty servos sold from retailers outside the US (or US retailers that do not buy from us directly) but we DO warranty ANY XQ servos that were bought THROUGH us. So be sure to ask your retailer if they are getting them from Redwing directly for warranty.

(please also note that if you send in serovs for RMA that are NOT ours, we cannot repair or pay for return shipping - so please be SURE they came from us before returning as we will be able to tell)

However, if you have any issues with the servos you bought from us directly or retailers buying from us, we will promptly fix the issue. Luckily, the servos we get from XQ pass QC and we have gotten VERY few returns on them.

We also have some great videos of them on you tube.

I used to arrive XQ-S4013D and XQ-S4008D on my flyer, they are really well done with it. Ah, I bought XQ since I viewed the comparison video. Very good
The key point is excellent after service, I have replace some parts from the local dealer, any problem can be settled.

Servo top 4020

So I dropped one and it landed on a mounting ear and broke it. Is a new top available?

xq 4020 vs hd 9150

I want to replace my slopy HD 9150 in my yak54 50cc and I was considerng for the xq 4020. Does anyone know how they compare in terms of reliability and dynamic torque ? I have some blowback with the hd9150 on the foul throttle rolls and I think that if the xq 4020 torque is actually 277oz-in will be enough.

I had the 9150's in a 100cc plane and changed to the 4020's. You have to do this as it changed the plane in a VERY positive way.

I have been using the 4020s in my 260 30cc for over a year with quite a bit of time on them and have had no issues. Still no slop and if you want to check out REDWING RC he did some testing on them against a high end Hitec servo and it out performed the Hitec on holding power and true torque numbers.

Hey guys yes we sell them. We are an authorized USA distributor. We've had VERY good luck with them, and see very few returns. those that do have issues (usually twitching or something non critical, no one has lost a plane to an XQ that we know of) we take back and warranty right away.

By the time you pay shipping overseas and SHOULD you have a problem, you've now lost anything you've saved. Plus we are super cool!

I have seen the XQ 4020's and 4016's working great. The 4020's are on a 50cc plane and are precise and quick.
