No good, the CF Xoar 28x10 is a very low load prop and it rips so loud it will hurt your ears on even a DL100. The 120 will be up over 7K with it.

Just put that Vess on and call it good. That 28x10 won't work. Remember my Xoar 28x10?
It does rip like crazy.
Mejzlik 28x12 or 27x12TH works good. The 28x12 is good for Imac.
Vess 28B Stealth series is quiet, nice prop.

Cory do you mean 29x10?, a 27x10th would be small for a 120.

Ahh, I meant a 27x12TH. Corrected.
I tried a 29x10S here in my colorado air and did not like it. The throttle response felt slow.
Maybe at sea level there is better results.

Thanks!

Started my build this weekend and had a little screw up. I mounted the rudder control horn to high. A didn't realize they had two locations... Would I be able to use a push pull setup in the location i'm in? If not where can I get another set of control horns?

Its a longshot, but worth a try. Epoxy gets soft very quicky in reaction to heat. Protect your covering around the horns and heat them up the horn itself with a heat gun while working them out slowly with a soft grip pliers. Be careful because your horn could get soft as well from too much heat, and watch the covering! to clean off the horn once out just use heat and rubbing alchohol

Obviously snipping them with a small patch of covering over the bad install, and installing a new set would be easiest but shoot might be worth a try I have removed wing horns this way no problemo.....

Good luck

I'll give it a try... So the location its in isn't for a push pull? I'm running a 3w-100 which is a little heavy so maybe a push pull would work?

Take Donnie up n that! Just dremel disk the incorrect horn flush w rudder and put a tiny patch over it.

Have fun with the plane!

Keep the pull-pull control horns glued in and Donnie From Chief Aircraft will send you another set he is a good guy. After you check your C-G you still can do pull pull if you need. go fly you plane and make sure your push pull is working out. Otherwise you can do what you need to do to get correct C-G then cut off the set of horns that you don't need. Post some picts of your build have fun! Scott K
