Aeroplus has the same wood replacement program that pilot RC has! Meaning if you have a mishap Aeroplus will replace the wood parts needed fo the repair free you pay shipping!

You can get great deals on high end items but most likely it won't be direct from the manufacturer. First step is to determine what you want exactly. Then search, search search around. Last year I got brand new DX18 for $450 and brand new DA120 with muffs for $800.00. The DA came from a nationwide craigslist search so you just have to be diligent and patient. I wish I were like others here and don't need to look at the price of the plane but in my case that simply isn't so. I would not have been able to get into 35% had I not been extremely conscious of the prices and waited for the best deals. If you are looking for a one stop deal shop for everything then I have no idea.

Yeah it was one of those deals that just went my way. I was so concerned it was fraud but we did the deal through paypal and I overnighted it in to verify. When I opened the box, that motor never saw a lick of fuel and I was extremely relieved. Came with DA muffs, drill guide and Menz wood prop. It has been running great in the nose of my Yak. The plan was to go with EME 120 but after a couple of days of looking, I came across a seller in Oregon that had the DA and needed to sell. Fortunately he never heard of FG (or ebay for that matter) so I guess he was unaware of what it was worth. Before anyone suggests it was stolen, the seller did include the original DA invoice.

you cannot go wrong with 3DHS frames or extreme flight. I also own a Pilot xtra330 which I have been well pleased with. Am in process of retireing it and replacing it with the Extreme Flight 91" extra. I also have the 3dhs bigfoot. Most of my friends have 3DHS planes and their construction is immaculate. As posted previously, cost is not the most important thing to consider, it has to be combined with your flying style, type of flying you want to do, pilot ability, and customer service. I my experience, cost comes below these atributes. Have made the mistake in past to purchase the least expensive only to be disappointed down the road. Good luck in your purchase.

I got super deals on E-Bay twice.

1st one was a a DA-170 that was listed as a DA-120.
By the pictures, I knew it was a 170.
It was low run time.
I got it for $650 @ the door.
Now mounted on my 3.1M Sukhoi.

The 2nd time was this.
A seller with 0 feedbacks in Columbia, with a bench run only DA-170.
He started out at $1200, then $1050, then $850.
I guess he was having a hard time selling it with 0 feedbacks and being out of the country.
E-Bay was guaranteeing the sale, so I made him an offer, which he excepted.
I got a bench run only DA-170 with mufflers for $750 @ the door.
This one is mounted on my 43% Edge.

Thanks you for the clarification. I do not see that on http://www.aeroplusrc.com/ which is why I am asking.
