When you see up close any stories reported by the media, where you know the details personally, it is amazing how inept they are about getting even simple facts correct. Makes you wonder about EVERY story they report.

ESPECIALLY when it involves aviation of any kind. Seems no one in the media knows ANYTHING about aviation.

Which makes me believe that as often as not they're getting everything wrong. Look at aviation in the movies - all it would take is a quick meeting with an aviation professional to get the little things right. Simple consulting job on a 100 million dollar movie, yet they don't which ruins it for me. If the media and entertainment is getting aviation wrong (and it would cost so little to get it right), we really can't assume that they're getting any of it right.

The media doesn't care about getting a story right any more, they haven't for years, they're just care about selling cars and toilet paper.

No fact checking, exaggeration, and hype is the modus operandi of the media these days...the whole Manti Te O fake girlfriend story comes to mind...

This looks like the same helicopter that was displayed at the AMA trade show..... interesting.
