They weigh a pound a piece. I have a set I was going to list. I decided not to use them on my clipped wing.

They look good on a clipped wing, they just defeat the purpose of a clipped wing. I agree.

They may be too small for you, but if you want scale IMO nothing beats the now-discontinued "Goodyear" branded Dubro tires.

I can take a better pic tonight.

No they do not have Kevlar. And just with thre process we are using, the tires are not meant to be on anything larger that a #100 airframe. As far as the price, I challenge you to find anything that is anywhere near what this tire is... There is nothing else out ther like it. They are quite expensive to make. If we tried to add Kevlar, the process of making them would easily double, putting them in line with the full-scale tire, which is also not Kevlar.

Ok. I agree there are no others like this I know of. But at that price I challenge you to sale this size to hobbyists. Other than those with more money than sense.
I gasp because the others you plan to offer are more in the price range expected.
I expect you will do well with this product though. It is a niche that needed filling.
No harm no foul. Carry on

40% Hempel Super Cub 40lbs 11.6 PR Bushwheels. DA120 she can be off in less than one rotation of the tires with a little head wind.

Some might recognize this plane as Rob Grants cub from Joe Nall years past on floats.

She goes both ways now.......land and sea.....

That looks really good jhawk! My 11.6 wheels are going on my 1/3 scale clipped wing.
They will serve (MY) needs perfectly. I care not about scale but rather just having fun.

Steve~ would you mind posting some video and additional info on your 1/4 scale shocks?

Are there springs under the cover? oil?
Are they easily user serviceable for maintenance and repair?
Will you offer these in a painted version (yellow or white perhaps)?

I would love to see some video installed on a 1/4 Cub to show their articulation.

Hi Guys, I just received my new 11.6" Bushwheels. They are awesome!!! With the aid of the axle adapter/extensions they fit on my stock world model axles. Such an easy install and with my new amount of prop clearance (14") with a Falcon 29X9 I can get into a bunch of trouble. I plan to fly this Friday and will try and put a short video on here. Thank You Steve and Robert! And thanks to my Bud Jimmer for setting this deal up.

Dave

I cracked up when I saw your picture! Brilliant! You put your Planebender sign in the background so that when your planes image shows up on a google search you have free advertising. Sweet plane and sweet idea. The wheels look great on there by the way. My brother has the same plane in blue but we have not maidened it yet. Cant wait to see how yours flies with those on there.

I want to see how those wheels hold up after sitting in hot sun for a while, then see how they hold round.
