AGM 60cc Twin won;t start
I got one - won't start - cannot get fuel into the engine - the Walbro Carburator works on my EME 55 just fine(Walbro gave me some ideas for the carb).
There's fuel to the carb - tank is fine(put my EME55 on the plane and it runs fine) Seems strange - it will pop when choked(and flipped about hundred times) and it will pop on low throttle but that's it - tried several hours to start, took carb off and put the EME 55 carb on it - opened up the needle valves - still no fuel to the engine . . . . - checked plugs for spark(both have good spark) Any ideas would be appreaciated - I know there is haters out there - but I'm willing to try this engine - if runs as good as others I'll be happy - new to gas - have a buddy with lots of experience with gas and he is baffled Thanx for listening and responding with ideas that will help get this motor running |

Read the "Reed Block Mod" on the DLE Engine Thread. Your AGM may need the same treatment.
https://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/...ad.php?t=88568 It's a simple thing to do, follow the directions to seal the reeds against the blocks. |

The Walbro carb on this engine has a plastic part between the metal carb and metal engine block.
Carb on the left is the one that came with the AGM - notice the black plastic Carb on the right came with my EME 55 - it has red plastic Is it OK to do this Reed Block mod on plastic? I can definitely lap the back of the metal part on the carb and engine |

Sooooo - I see that some parts are plastic and some look like metal in the mod link
The Reed Block looks like it is metal - however, mine is plastic(or looks like plastic) on both the carbs I have I'm confident I can do the mod - just want to make real sure its OK to do on the plastic parts THANX for the help - scared nubie - don't have money to get a new carb if I mess this one up - since the EME runs I want to at least be able to fly |

I see in this post that the parts are/maybe plastic - http://www.grosbeakrc.ca/hangar/puls...s/lapping.html
Got the sandpaper and a little time tonight - so will try it - hope it works |

You do have NGK plugs, right? And be sure the throttle is open far enough for the engine to run. Best of luck to you.
