We do not set prices for DL engines, we use the prices that they tell us to use as do all the other legitimate dealers. If you spend a little time on our website and do some comparison shopping you will see the opposite is the rule.

Oh My Friend Jody,
That statement is not "Totally True" !
They will sell to us little boys ( Southeast R/C Engines, LLC ), as low as the factory direct
companies. As long as you offer the type of service as we have offered in the past.
The HIGH END distributors within China know who takes care of their customers ! ! !
That is what this is all about, isn't it ?

You should chat with your boss about our reputation ?

Ron,

First of all, I have no boss, we are equal partners with a division of responsibility. That comment was not meant toward legitimate dealers such as yourself. Feaio Model and Cyclone Toy have been known to sell engines and other products at wholesale prices to consumers posing as retailers. This should bother you as much as it does us. I know of your reputation, fully endorse your business and I have sent customers to your door because of this. I don't think of SERCE as a "Little boy" I know you have worked hard to get where you are and you have many loyal customers because of it, I applaud you for that, keep up the good work.

Re: DL-30 / DLE-30

While I haven't purchased anything from Cyclone, I have an account there (I wanted to check prices on some planes and boats). I am the type of "non-legitimate dealer" or "little boy" to whom Jody and Ron refer. I am absolutely NOT a legitimate dealer and Cyclone could care less. It appears they don't care who places an order and they don't have minimum purchase requirements, and I didn't need to supply a tax ID number the way I would to prove my legitimacy as a dealer here in the states.

For what it is worth I prefer to purchase from a domestic supplier (such as Valley View, Southeast RC Engines, Common Sense, etc). If I don't keep them in business today, where will I go for parts, equipment, or advice tomorrow?

I would like to see some prop data comparison between the MLD28 and the DLE30. From the DLE data from this thread and the data on the MLD site it looks like the DLE will pull 3 more pounds of static thrust.

8500 RPM is where the peak horsepower is rated at, aerobatic aircraft will want to take advantage of the engines torque which is strongest at a much lower RPM than peak horsepower. Don't know if you noticed in the video but that was a 19x8 prop at 7200+ RPM, that's pretty impressive!

That's nice. I also noticed the remixed theme to "Prison Break" lol.

That is pretty impressive. People get hung up on numbers sometimes. Performance is what matters, and that looked like it performed very well.
