Pull Pull cable

I need your help guy's. I'm going to replace my pull pull cable on my 100cc edge and all the cables I can find like du-bro's 4-40 and heavy duty is a smaller diameter. Where are you guys getting thicker cables? Thanks in advance.

I use Berkley steelon. 60 or 80 lb. works fine for your application.

One more question. What do you use to crimp the wire together that's after market? I know the pull pull kits come with them. But don't want to spend 12.00 just for those.

Sporting goods stores sell the plastic coated leader wire, steel crimps and the crimpers. I buy mine at the local Academy store.

Yep, a 10 dollar trip to Academy Sports or Bass Pro Shop or similar will have enough cable and crimps for several planes.

Most of the stuff that comes with kits is fine.

If you need to replace it for some reason its usually much more cost effective to get coated leader line from a fishing shop.

As for t he Seacraft stuff, it makes setting up a P/P cable system about 95 percent easier

larry, I pretty much have everything you need, and you can make crimps out of 1/8" copper tubing. I think I am heading down to dynamic either today or tomorrow if you want me to bring pp cable.

Thanks Paul, I've looked everywhere in Hemet and can't find heavy duty fishing supplies . I'd have to order them online since I don't travel to areas that would have them. When would you be out my way again?
