In trying to clean out my hobby shelves I came across these two Novus CP (Collective Pitch) helis, that have the 2.4G transmitters and a bunch of spare parts. I had bought the performance kit for one of the helis (the red anodized aluminum swashplate & pitch arms plus the motor) but was off onto other things before I flew it.
I did fire these up and both seem to have the same problem - the motors will turn the blades (tail & main), but do not get going fast enough to lift or maintain direction, or just shut off. This may be gear mesh or some setting with the ESC that needs to be done, but I ain't fooling with them!
