Reminds me of all the negative talk when 2.4 came out. Congrats to the developers and I hope they encourage others to follow suit to EFI.

shouldnt do. when 2.4 came out the advantages were easy to see. so far on here we see a pic of an any engine but no efi unit and not comment from those who tested it as to what it can do above normal aspirated use. doubt you will get an answer either if it wasnt thrown in from the start. eagerness to push the plus sides would have come out by now and would be the selling point. for the price its retailed at its unlikely to be earth shattering in tech. think i'll go back to me boat

Some are applying EFI with regards to the automobile applications versus EFI in the lawn and garden power tool applications.

This EFI unit removes the L and H needles...nothing wrong with that

I like to see this motor run. If I had to guess how this works is by a valve in the carb that is controlled by Duty Cycle and has an algorithm from the ignition cycles or tps sensor or baro sensor in the carb. Looks Good!

looks like it still has a throttle/butterfly arm. Doesn't appear to be a choke since I see a spring there.

here's a link I found to that efi/carb thingy

Does not need a choke, It has a TPS sensor, Once you flip it, it shoots fuel into crank case. This is pretty simple design. Should work well.

no choke, no need to prime, no needles
win win win

I bet its a quick and easy starting engine.

PCRC looks to be a quality company thats done alot of good things with Subaru, Rigid and others.
