Hi guys

First i want to say that this is one of the simplest and smartest things i recently purchase.
I didnt buy the EQ 6 with an ignition cut off as one unit, i bought it after in separated, so i got a spear transmitter.

My issue is that... i have been trying to set it to the EQ 6 but i cant, i tried to change the channels like in the manual but it seems that it doesnt do any thing except being working ONLY when i move my elevator stick.
OK... so i took the spear transmitter i got with it and plugged it to channel 7 on my EQ 6, it worked!
Now i tried again to do the same thing only using the built in ignition CO in my EQ6...again only the elevator stick is controlling it.
Where did i went wrong, i am sure that i did something not good, but what??

Without a photo of how you have it wired I cant tell. I have my EQ6 too far from home to run out and take a look but I assume you are using the jumper from the engine kill channel you want to the sender pin.

I know thats not a good description but with a photo I can do it easier.

Did you set the channel in the option menu for ignition cutoff?

Enter the option menu(power on the unit with the function button on 9 and holding down both inc and dec buttons) then I think it is #2 on the function dial, then turn the channel dial to 7, push the buttons and then it programs channel 7 to be the cutoff. Make sure the ATV for the channel is 100 both ways.

When you are in the option menu and select #2 for setting the cutoff, there should be a blinking light by the channel that is programed. When you select a new channel (by setting the channel on 7 and holding both inc and dec for 2 sec), the led by the that channel 7 servo port will start blinking.

How is the elevator stick controling channel 7? Make sure channel 7 on the power expander is plugged into channel 7 on the receiver.

The EQ6 does not use a jumper. The Sport uses a jumper, so does my new secret unit.

I did it step by step, tried to go like in the manual, but yet the elevator is making the CO work and not channel 7, i checked several times if the channel is correct and it is the right one.

Can you take a close over head pic of the unit with the light blinking?

This may seem like a dumb question, but do you have an elevator servo plugged into channel 7 on the board?

OK guys, i dont know what i did but NOW it works, that channel (7) was empty with no servo attached to it, i played with the dials and all of the sadden the channel 6 was blinking so i used the manual to change the channel to channel 7 and...it worked, now after like 5 hours of working and trying almost everything it worked, but yet, i dont know what caused the channel 7 to blink all the time and made the elevator stick work as an ON and OFF switch for the CO.
Well this is why i am not an electrition...

What is a jumper and what is the secret unit you are all talking about??

i know what a jumper is, but WHAT SECRET UNIT??????come on guys...
