Re: DLE20

So how would you think the vibration might be compared to a YS 1.10 (which has lots!).

Any1 know the diameter and thread count on the crank? Looking for specs for a spinner adapter. Pretty sure the diameter is 8mm, but not sure of threads? 8x1.0 or 8x1.25? Thanks!!

The prop bolt should be drilled in the end, no spinner adapter needed. Same as the 30 and 55cc

The sample I was sent does not have the propshaft drilled so an adapter is needed, 8mm x 1.0 is correct.

The engines are on US soil but still in customs, couple more days.

I guess an adapter is not that big of a deal. Thanks for clearing that up! Can't wait to get the engine, my plane is all set and ready for testing. Got a few different Vess props to see what it likes.

Elsewhere he'd stated it would take 4 of them 2 days to prep & ship.
So, last nite & today prepping, today & tomorrow shipping?

Bet UPS/FedEx/? is gonna love VVRC!

It's running! Initial start-up of my new DLE 20cc gas engine on the EE60. So far so good as it's holding the rec. 4500rpm break-in speed well. Zinger 16x8 and 25:1 Stihl HP Ultra non-synthetic oil for now. Running it at 4500 rpm per the book for 2 hrs. 45mins complete but have to quit for today.

Dle 20cc initial breakin EE60 (0 min 39 sec)
