Very nice. I'm a Cannon guy. My wife and I have a Cannon T3i that is a very nice camera for the entry level photographer like my wife and I. Being able to hold two SD cards seems like it would be a nice feature though. Its nothing for me to go to the field on a Sunday and take 400-500 pics. I love putting it in the sports mode so that makes them add up quick. And yes with a 70-300 zoom with sun shade it will look big.

I have some sad news to announce.

We have had some tornados touch down in the Pittsburgh area. Rob (RCpilot82) just informed me that one hit in his neighborhood.

His trailer is gone. Monster12 was still in the trailer.

It is believed to be within a 2 county radius and we are searching for the trailer. Any help would be appreciated.

On a good note it is estimated the flight was at least 27 minutes long so I am relieved to know it flew that long. The longest flight yet.

Someone reported seeing the "wicked B itch from the East" flying on top of a Red and Black biplane with checkers.

If anyone sees her please tell her to unwrap her legs off of my airplane and get her jollies off on something else.

The moki I know for a fact doesn't vibrate that much.

Thanks for the help guys!!

I'm so sorry to hear that Karl, but you seem to have the right attitude. I'm sure the wheels are already spinning for how or what to replace it with. Good luck with the recovery. I will keep my fingers crossed that it is not going to be too bad.

Karl,

I'm so sorry to hear that news.....but glad that neither you nor Rob nor any members of your family or friends were injured.

Things can be replaced, even amazing one of a kind things like the Monster 12, but we only go around once in this life so continue to count your blessings and plan for the future

Bill

It's kind of erieeeeee! Kendall's Checkmate got damaged from high winds ripping the roof off a hangar during a storm and your 50% Checkmate gets damaged in a hangar blown away by the wind during a severe storm. Both were just parked in a supposed safe place on the ground!

I'm kind of scared to go up to the fly field hangar to check on mine after this storm!

Strange way for both to go? Can't believe it!

ok... yes.. it is June 11. There is a 1 in there though. lol...

My wife woke me up and I asked her about the tornado.

She said there wasn't one and I asked about the tin man.

She said I cut him up a long time ago and made an engine box out of him.

I called Rob. He said the trailer is still in the back yard at his house.

I must have been typing in my sleep...

The house did land on the Pitts though. It didn't do any damage at all !! lol...

Sorry guys!
