We need your help, we are a small company doing our best to produce the best tailwheel money can buy.

However, we operate on a tight budget and are trying to figure out the best way to spend our meager advertising budget.

We have put our first banner ads on FG this month and the hits to our website have gone up, but I am not sure sales have changed all that much.

Don't get me wrong we love Flying Giants, and consider this website the best thing ever to happen to the Giant Scale RC hobby. I spend most of my waking time on this website.

If you have bought our tailwheel or are planning on buying it please respond to the poll and let us know where you found out about us and whether it was an ad, forum, or friend who first told you about J&J Tailwheels.

JJ tailwheels are looking soon to be on the majority of the Australian IMAC planes. I think that's how you sell a tailwheel seeing it on other planes not failing and looking presentable..

the blimptail wheels where good but i got my JJ wheel last week and this item is excellent A1 super dooper stupendous and all the rest

You could also sponsor some of the IMAC regional contests as well.........That gets the product out there and on IMAC planes

We are going to start trying to do some sponsorship. We are donating one for raffle at the Atlanta Huckfest.

We donated a tailwheel to the give away plane, and will have a banner at TAS. We cannot make the long trip to Tucson. They are airbrushing the give away plane and it will have our Logo on it. I cannot wait to see the plane it should be super nice.

John at JJ has helped me out all summer.
Very quick to answer e-mails, send out orders etc..

Thanks Sleepy, without Flying Giants and the support and forums you guys provide, this whole operation would have not gotten off the ground. I know we cannot afford any significant magazine advertising based on the rates I have seen.

Word of Mouth is the best advertisement IMO. Turn your customers into salespeople and you'll eventually have more than you can handle.

I think Slow starts in small business are a blessing in disguise. That'll give you time to tool for higher production.

I've been contracting for close to a decade and this year was the first time I've advertised in the yellow pages. Believe it or not 90%+ of my business is still referrals. I've also had more work this year than ever before.
R/C Modeling is a small community. Put out a great product and stand behind it the best you can, and LOOKOUT.

Don't advertise, drop the price a very small amount. We all like bargains and word will get out quick. If more of your tailwheels are out there being used the more you sell because we buy what has worked for other people.
