I got the turtledecks sheeted and the fuse side sheeting glued on. I will let these dry overnight. I use polyurethane glue on the turtledecks. That's all for today folks. Next up, watch me spit polish a wing tube and insert it into a dark hole.

Tony, this is a build thread, please keep it on topic. Nobody cares to hear about what goes on in your shop when the sun goes down. Is that a palma horse and a gag ball in the background?

dang dude... u are the guy!! i would be luckey to even find all those pieces in the time u built one, yet alone two, u got my respect for one of the best builders i've seen! Good Job!

Next thing I do is align the wing and stab tube phenolics in the fuse and glue them in.

I cut 1/4' square doublers for the tops of all formers.

I cut a 1" wide strip of balsa and glue it to the top of the fuse. This provides a good surface for the turtledeck to glue to and helps tie the cross braceing into the fuse.

This aluminum tube will support the stab anti rotation pins.
