New hitec 7950TH

Well guys I was surfing the hitec site and I found out that hitec is set to release the 7950TH, which is rated at 486 in oz of torque at 7.4 volts. They are due to release June 2009 according to hitecs website.

Hitec has done it again!

Mike mayberry would chime in and give us more info. Please

hitec needs to announce the dates for these for sure.... many people would wait a bit for them but are not doing so due to the unknown time frame. i know i'll buy some right away!

Re: New hitec 7950TH

Yea I hear I wish they had a set date when they are coming out. It looks like that are not going to release the standard 7950's because of the new HV 7950. I just hope they come out soon. I was really hoping for the 7950's in Jan for my 35% dalton, but now I'll just have to get the 7955 and wait on the 7950TH for my 42% dalton.

Can we use the A123 batteries with the Hitec 7950 or is it only compatiable for Li-poly technology?

A123 batteries will be fine. The servo does not care where the voltage comes from as long as it is DC and it gets enough current.
