what next for spectrum ???

ok we all know that jr and spectrum are the same company. but do you think a 9-12-14 ch radio may pop up form spectrum. and since specturm seems to be the ginny pig for the 2.4 era what would you like to see in a radio if you could build one.

16X will only cost $4999 ... I hear it'll even come with a tx case and a neck strap! A lithium-ion battery will be a $500 option.

Yah, the next line of radios will be satellite controlled. (UAVs)

The transmitters will have special touch screen controls for the gimbles and you will be able to play mp3s, call people, save pictures, and send out your IMAC scores to everyone. There will even other programs you can download on it like a planner, contacts list, and graphing calculator. It will run on new Nano Nuke Technology also known as NNT. This new technology will last your whole life and will never have to be charged.

It's going to either called the IFLY or the TI-1000.

I'd just like them to redesign the Spektrum module case for JR radios to get rid of that stupid antenna wire and make it so the antenna comes out the top in front of the handle.

I would love to see a base line 9 or 10 channel radio. Maybe something that has a few less features than the DSX9 etc. For the lower budget flyers. I like the DX7 But it is very limited, obviously it would have to be fairly priced to fit into the market.

I would think one of the next things we will see is Telemetry

Same here, my flying buddy is a team JR member. I wont mention any names, however he hasn't heard anything about a 16X. The 12 is the new flagship.
He did mention there are some very cool items in the works but is very tight lipped

Well hopefully the cool items in the works won't make the current Spektrum 2.4 obsolete as I'm about to drop a bunch of cash on a 12X.
