Old AeroWorks G-202 Kit Resurrection

My good friend Mark Dennis found this A/W G-202 that was built from a kit but never finished. I think it was built 16 to 18 years ago. He asked me to update it and recover it. These are some pictures from start to finish. Hope you all enjoy the story/pictures. It was a fun project !!

BTW, my wife the quilter, bought me this iron rest "Sew While The Iron's Hot" and it is the best thing to have on hand to put your MonoKote irons on. Can be found on line.

Thanks Mark,
Van

Van,
I saw that plane before you got your hands on it. As usual, your craftsmanship is superb.

Nice Job

Very nice! I'm diggin that scheme and color choices, and your work is very clean!

It's great when these older planes can be rescued, especially the way you're going about it.

I've got an older Aeroworks 33% 540T ARF that I'm in the process of completing. I got it a few years back, incomplete, never finished or flown. I've now got all the original parts, and most of the components. Just waiting until after our regional finals here in the Southwest to put it all together. Depending on how it flies, it will either be my main, or back up plane for next year. These types of planes are still very relevant when set up nicely.

I can sure appreciate what you're doing. Keep it up! It should fly very well.
