So, you converted your THERMAL DURATION GLIDER to electric launch but I don't see any comments about catching thermals. Do you themal this puppy or did you just make an electric airplane?

he mostly uses it for a hotliner now.

Nice thread gives me an idea for my GL, its has to be at least 20 years old but now, it might live agin. Glade this thread got to live.

This stupid thread got me all nostalgic. I broke down and ordered a GL kit for my birthday. Since they are discontinued I feel pretty fortunate I found one. Gonna put a brushless up front with a folding prop. Looking forward to flying one of these again! Sit back, catch some thermals, relax.
