I just got my C/F 32 X10 today,,, very nice looking!
But that was one funcky balance job I had to put on it. I had to put some clear on the light blade and a strip of velcro with CA on or about the 1030'ish/11 o'clock position there on the hub,,, I'll see how it does on my compy 3.1 Sx with a 3W-170 in the nose. I normally run Mej's and so far i haven t met a prop that comes out of the bag balanced like a mej,,,(just my humble opinion) |

I just tried a 28-9 CF today on my BME110 Aeroworks Extra 300 and I was pretty impressed. Been running a Mej 27-10. The 28-9 is very quite and spins up quite well. This is my first Falcon prop but it won't be the last. Tom |

I think the 30/14 will work great on your engine. I had all the events off this year. Then we switched shift schedules at work and my luck I ended up working just about every contest. If you can make our Lodi IMAC contest in two weeks we would love to see you come. Darin K is making the trip. Garrett |

Well, I finished flying for the day with a 32 x 10 Falcon C/F prop and my ears are still ringing,,, gonna try the 32 x 11 next. I did however, for S&G's, RE-balanced the prop again with a VBR and got it close enough for some test flights,,, this prop almost whoop'd my butt trying to get it to balance. Performance wise, with the 32 x 10 Falcon on my 3W-170 on proflows,,, it wasn t enough prop for me. On a side note,,, Density Alt was approx 6550' today. |

Tbone, I like the 23x9 for that engine. The falcon is about equal to the vess in terms of spool up and pullout, and is much quieter. Landing speed is about the same.

You can and yes, the 23x9 (same answer you got on RCGroups )
Falcon showed up at our event last year (FX3D) with a pickup truck full of props and a drill press and let us play with them till we were happy then gave us the prop we liked. I ended up (at their engineers suggestion) with the 23x9 and have bought 2 more since then. |
