TDA Slick Schemes

Hey guys, here are the two schemes that were doing with two colors of each scheme. Let me know which scheme and color you like the best.

I love the yellow/black. But I think I like the red 50cc Edge scheme the best.

Hey guys, I've got the other prototype out there. What questions do you want answered? I can go ahead and tell you that the airplane will 3d extremely well. We did in increase the size of the stabs, and that really helped to dial it in. The plane flies light, but still has enough mass behind it where it will carry through the maneuvers you want it to. It's also built really well. While I haven't 'tried' to break it, I haven't been really nice either. High power snaps with a Mintor 110 and Vess Stealth prop aren't easy on a wing, but I haven't hurt it yet. Actually, I did try once... ;-) I'll try to get a decent video up soon. It does every maneuver I have thrown at it well, including pop tops, rolling harrier circles/loops/ect, tumbles, and IMAC. Like I said, I need to get a video up soon.

I say this next bit not as a Top Dawg team member, but as a young guy buying an engagement ring, trying to buy a house, and starting my career. This is a plane I would be happy putting my money into. I know it's easy to say that as a member of the team, but I know how it feels to buy something and be disappointed. Unless youve got a lot of money, you need to buy right the first time. Blaine has nit-picked this thing over and over again, and I am confident that this setup won't disappoint. If anybody is near Memphis, send me a pm. You're more than welcome to come see it in person before the flying season gets going.

Well said Jack. It is a very capable plane and the quality is second to none. I have flown mine as hard as possible and it has held up great.

a 3d video would be great. I want to buy a slick but as I mentioned earlier I wanted crazy throws on the elevator and ailerons. I'm talking about 70 to 80 degrees. I have couple of 100cc (EF & 3DHS) and they put about 80 degrees +....
I personally love flying real hard and enjoy seeing my plane do some crazy stuff. thats just my flying style.
I really love the colors and features of this plane and would like to see a video and know what is the max out throws going to be for production. from the pictures I noticed that the elevator couter balance is a bit small. is it going to change in the final production ?

Well, we are going to be offering an additional set of stabs that you'll be able to purchase that will have extreme throws. They will have 70-80 degrees for throw for the elevators and big counter balances.

You have some great color options. I really like the yellow/black and the orange/white the best but they are all nice.

These pictures are with the original smaller stabs, I don't have any pics with the larger stabs.
