I really can't believe the XG14 is the new top end, there has to be something else coming, that looks like it is intended to compete with the Futaba 14SG, I really can't believe a radio that looks like made by Walkera or another Chinese radio maker will be a top of the line, sorry, that radio is an insult to the 10X, I never liked my 12X that much, but I still think the 10X was Jr's flagship as far as construction goes.....

I agree with you 100%, the 10X was a Great Flagship radio for its time, the 12X was a letdown to me as far as construction goes. Having a touch screen and then eliminating that feature on the 12X was a step back in my opinion.

JR Propo recently made a small statement about their Flagship radio so it looks like a New Flagship is on its way. I hope they implement a touch screen again!

“JR Propo Yes, We are working on new falg ship but I cannot inform too much detail, we are hoping to release this within 2013.”

Exactly! that is what I meant, it is like a leap back, but having another on the works makes complete sense! again I am sure the problem is this radio can not be a flagship for JR.

This is good news. I have been in the market for a really nice flag ship radio. I have the 11X right now (DMSX) and all my spektrum stuff has been 100% reliable but even though you dont need a flag ship radio with all the fun stuff, it would be nice to have it. 18MZ is just to much money to justify though. Plus if i switched to that brand i would have to start bashing others for what they use and i don't want to do that.LOL.

I don't really understand what the big deal is with the touch screen. Every 10x I've seen has fingerprints all over the screen which makes it hard to see. I've never been using the roller and wished I had a touch screen with the exception of entering the model name. Then I just wish the cursor would stay where it was when you enter the letter rather than going back to the beginning. A simple programming change would fix that. I can't believe this is the flagship, like others have said it's just to compete with the 14SG. I hope the new flagship doesn't look like an alien though...

Agreed. I would actually rather not have a touch screen. A roller and button is more than fine with me.

What about the upcoming JR - XG14E? Is that one radio in a new serie?
