Well last week was the first round of state play-offs for us and we ended up loosing. It was a BIG upset for us. We lost 41-7. We didnt expect this team to be that good at all. Our record for the season was 9-1. I had fun kicking for the football team. Did it for four years!!! Now it is all over since I am a senior. Here are our records.
9th 11-2 Elite 8 State Playoffs
10th 12-2 Final 4 State Playoffs. (Lost in the Georgia Dome 0-7) : (
11th 10-1 Sweet 16 (upset game)
12th 9-2 First round state playoffs (MAJOR UPSET)

Wow! your playoffs just started? in michigan today was all the state championship games.. im a sophomore at my highschool so i was on jv this year.. our varsity made playoffs and some of us got moved up for playoffs.. we won first round 28-7 and lost the second round like 33-22 (this was our second consecutive year in the playoffs and the first time in school history since like 1982 lol)

my school has made it the last 7 years i believe.

haha. damn. that sucks that you lost first round, that is probably the worst thing you can do to any team is underestimate them

I always say if a team is in the playoffs also, don't underestimate them EVER.

I play college ball and we got to second round and lost there. It was a great season. I broke a hand and a finger, but it was worth every second . Football is just the best sport ever.

I think futbol is the best sport ever. It is just futbol got me into kicking for football. ha ha. It was a lot of fun though. At least the stands are pack at high school football games. soccer is not big down here in GA.

How do you live in Texas and your parents don't want you playing football?

Over cautious. I played for a year and I never played in a game because of injuries. Twisted ancle, tore tendons out for 3 weeks. Strained quad and pulled calf out for a month. Then other samll injuries for the rest of the season. I asked about a week ago and she still says no. She doesn't think that I would have fun getting kicked around the field. And I think she worries cause I'm so small. The first game I would play in would be on the varsity football team if I joined now. I'm 5'6" wiegh around 140 give or take a couple of hotdogs. The average player on our team is 5'11" weighs around 200. I don't see what's not to like.
Oh well baseball starts in January.
