I'm going to be in the area for Christmas to visit my in-laws. That would be the highlight of my trip to see that bird fly. Or even just to see it in person.

I finished the canopy splash tonight, and got the plates bonded in the wheel pants. Now I can lay up the cowling this weekend, and get back to finishing beast.

If super lite and big is the direction, would it be better to pull it with a DA-100 with 2:1 reduction and a 34" prop?
Just got my 37% krill 55m. Its landing gear weights about half of the graphtec. 4 layers of 1.5mm ply, wrap with 3-4 layers of carbon, cure in vacuum bag..I think. |
