This is for Big A

The muffler bolt spacing from DLE-55 to the JC-60 is identical. I do have the JC-60 in stock along with the SE-56. ( have a combo deal but wont spam the thread with it) The exhaust ports are nearly an identical match. In reality.... neither the JC 60 muffler or the DLE-55 after market muffler matches the exhaust gasket perfectly. My opinion is that there would be no performance loss... A perfectionist would take a dremmel and put a little bevel on the muffler or header face to let the juices flow... so to speak...

so, i am using the JR power safe rx.
This has 2 batt inputs direct to rx, and a seperate swutch that fails on. Because of this set up, i can run the pin and flag switch. I have mounted the pin switch through the fuse just in front of the canopy and it's also where the led light from the spark switch is. Nice and unobtrosive and attractive as well.

The rx will mount in the fuse, as will the spark switch. so in each wing i will use a 1200mah life with self balancing (booma rc), and these will plug straight into the EC3 connectors on the rx.
there will also be one servo wire for each aeileron.
I feel better with the batts in the wings as i think it will allow me some adjustment for c.g.

The ignition is mounted to a secraft mount. The throttle servo is also.

The rest kinda explains itself.

I always make my own servo leads, so i will leave them as you see till i finish covering, then i just have to trim them and fit them off.
So wires for everthing are pretty much run and you can see where the tank will sit also.

I have built the firewall with 2 degree built into it. dowels and screws hold it, as well as the harwood tristock, which has also been cut on a 2 deg angle.
Using gravygoodness mount so i have good access to everything around the carb.
It's a great mount and very light.

polished the gear as well, not super chrome look, just brightened it a little.

Wings started.

Booma rc self balancing life packs. I'll be using one in each wing.

Thing looks awesome, makes me that much more impatient waiting for my build to get to my house, though it pails in comparison to what you are doing. The wingspan on mine is probably less than just one wing half of the beast your building. Keep up the good work

I've been running Fromeco 7.4v Li-Ions and that little balancer saved the day when I left the pack on for a week one time. It kept them both at the same level, so I was able to bring the pack back instead of letting one going waaaaay down.

Sorry to divert the thread, but I wanted to share that.

Carry on!!
