Landing Gear Support Brace Needed
Hi all, I am building a 57" Yak-55M and it has a fairly weak aluminum wheel bracket/landing gear support. I am afraid that when I have a hard landing (not impossible at all) the wheels will spread out as the bracket bends. what can I put across it just above the wheels to stop it from spreading outwards? Thanks for the help.

Yea I'd get another set of gear. A lot of the "bad landing" force is taken up by the spring of the gear. If that force is transferred into the fuse.. bad things can happen. You would much rather have the gear spread or flex a bit than have that force break formers in the fuse.
