Question
The Best 100cc Plane?? Opinions Please

Im looking for a 100cc plane. I watch alot of vids and carefully observe peoples flying styles. The current 100cc planes seem to have everything we need. So, whats the Baddest 100cc plane (IN YOUR OPINION of course) out there?????

To consider: Durability, Coupling, Floatiness, precision and just an all out throw down machine.

by 100cc are you taking "120cc" sized planes too?

if so, the EF 110 yak. Just looks so graceful in the air. It can do anything from ultimate IMAC flying, to ballz to the wall hardcore 3D. Either way the plane looks like it is effortlessly flying.
Close second is the Slick... hucking machine.

That is, until EF comes out with a big Edge (im dreaming for this day lol)

Yes 120cc also. In fact I plan on the DA120. Flown the 110. Good plane.

The new Yak 55m from OMP was a big hit at Joe Nall. Everyone that put their hands on it loved the way it flew. We had four of them at the event and each one had a different setup. One was with a DLE111 on pipes and it didn't lack any power. The one in the video below is powered by a DA-120.

I flew a few of the planes and really like how it track for precision. As for 3D I will let the video explain it.

Hope this helps and good luck! You really can't go wrong with any 100cc out on the market today!

I have owned both the AW extra 300 and the H9 300. Both with a 120 and tuned pipes. Both are on the heavier side of 29#'s. But they both float pretty good IMO. If i was to choose between the 2, it would be the H9 300. I think it flys precision better and it does awsome water falls. A little more wing rock than the AW though. The AW did not have any but it could be just me getting used to it also. There is some mixing needed for rudder to elevator. I like the scheme of the AW alittle better also but the H9 still looks good. The H9 seems to land slower also. I have no idea why but other people have told me the same thing so i dont think it's me. I would love to try out a Extreme flight air frame and 3DHS slick. I think they will come in a few pounds lighter. But im also running RE2's with my 120.

Extreme Flight 110" Yak with DA120. I have flown other 100 size planes and this is the ultimate. It will do good precision which I cant do, but awesome 3D, No coupleing if you have the CG right and to me just an all around great setup with the 120. Love mine.

I was watching it fly all day every day... seemed really nice! I think this will be a very big hit, and if it isn't, I may have to buy one...

Also, the new EF 104" Extra looked amazing... I think they're shipping in a couple weeks....
