Jeff at DA told me to not run one. I have been running the power box spark switch for 2 years and at my last IMAC contest i had three dead sticks. The igition was shut off. When i landed, the power box light was off. It should never be off unless you have no power to the switch or if the transmiter triggers it off. I had another spark switch and installed it and same thing. I could toggle the ignition switch on my transmitter and it would relight. I never lost control of the plane so i knew it was not a reviever issue. I am 99% postive that there was an RF issue with my igntion so i sent it in. They said it was fine and there was no issues. But they said they had no way to check for RF. I ended buying a new igntion because it was not worth the risk of another dead stick. I plan on bringing home some equipment to monitor for RF and send DA the results. |
