Vess sorry to say this but you may have to edit your picture. I can't look at your post as I have to scrolling right by it without reading. my 9 year old is sitting next to me looking at the picture on your avitar. Sorry, I'm g-rated.

Yes, response to 26 year old college technique. (from what I remember before scrolling past that post). What you practice between now and the end of the year will determine how you end up at next year's competition. There is truth to this. It builds confidence going into the new year. It also is good to do because the weather in November and December (75% of the time) is calm versus the windy mid- winter to late spring weather (75% if the time) trying to learn a new sequence. Its good to fly in the wind, and the calm. Calm helps one work on geometry and precision, plus its less taxing on the mental state, so you can get a couple more flights in before turning down the learning curve of that session.

I find a different field to fly at the day of the contest. Guaranteed to get in more than 2 flights that way.
