Lots of propeller choices. I prefer a Falcon 29x9. The 28x10 you list is fine. The plane is quite light. If noise is an issue it has plenty of power so a three blade could also be an option. The DA120 instruction manual lists a nice range of suitable props.

Sebastian. Try MTW direct, cut out the middle man and you could save a bit.

I just have 3 questions.
Which is the best propeller for my combo? Mejzlik 28x10 carbon i understand is most used but there are a some versions of this prop, some different weight and so on. So what Mejzlik 28x10 shall i use?

Then i have question about canister chose. I have found a complete MTW canister kit from kingslynnmodelshop but cant find them anywhere elso. I think the price is quite high also at 330£.. Is it a must to have the canisters or are there cheaper canisters avalible?

Do you guys use power box with 2 recivers safety?

Thank you very much for answers!

Ahh thank you very much guys!
Canister from mtw directly is much more acceptable price!

The Vess stealth propp looks intressting, i guess it makes nice noise! I think i give it a try, read a lot of good stuff about them!

Hello!

Does anyone know the replecment screw for the landing gear? The diameter for the Philips screw that comes in the kit is 4.16mm, I cant find any inch screw that fits, only 5/32 screws but they are more 4mm in diameter?
Manual dosnt say correct screw either. Anyone could give me the exakt screw? Want to replace stock screw with hex head...

The screws are 8-32 (imperial size). I use Button Head Allen Head screws on mine.

Very nice pictures. i'm starting to love my beast.
I noticed that my beast kicks/ stalls to the right when I apply full elevator rather than falling straight down like my mono wing. did any of you notice this at all ?

I mixed full elevator with rudder and the problem is solved but wondering if this is normal or I might have a wing or elevator with bad inceidence.

Maybe motor angle?
In my I put washers on the left side for a straight flight and precision stall and hammer head..
I have participated in IMAC competitions with The Beast ... Not a good plane for precision but it's the only one I have flown.

I sold my Beast last year....and I miss it so much I will probably build another one. Its a great airframe! Was waiting to see if H9 comes out with a new 100cc Bipe. Skip Stewarts P-2 (the modified Pitts not the P-3 Revolution) would be a nice addition.

Hi.

I have two questions for you about the Beast :

I have been offered a good deal on the Beast. I wasn't looking for this particular plane ( more pilot rc extra 330 or edge) but I really like the way it looks. However before buying it, I have two concerns :

What is the height of the aircraft : from ground to the top of the remaing central upper wing? I am not sure it will fit into my car...

I would like to join some contests ( in France, it is called F3M but it is pattern flight much like your IMAC). Is this Beast able to do precision flight? I read that she flies on rails but biplanes are not famous to draw a straight line...

If you could help me.

thanks

I am at work now so do not have the measurements on me... But as far as flying precision, yes it is totally cabable! It's all about the pilot! I have flown mine through the advanced sequence and it flys very well! I would have no hesititation if I were you buying the beast!! It is tall though! I will tell you that and the elevators are not removeable...

Thanks a lot Carruthers!!

And good point for the non removeable elevators. Could you tell me how wide is the tail?
I am not sure my car is big enough.
