I am looking for a new 50cc airframe and have to wonder how does the EF Edge 540 fly? I really like this plane but I cant seem to find any info on it ie. video, threads, etc. Does anyone own one of these birds or seen one of them fly? Whats the verdict? Also thinkin maybe a 87" 3DHS Extra or the 89" Slick?? To many decisions to choice from.... Any input will be greatly appreciated.

The EF Edges just started shipping so it'll be weeks before you see flight reports. All their planes are awesome though. I'd put an order through for an Edge myself. I have the Extra, incredible bird.

The plane itself wont take much time at all to get together....so within a week easily you could have one flying...as with the Yak and Extra....

I didnt know that the Edge was released like a week ago. I knew that it was new but geez! Hopefully some guys put up build threads and video of this bird.

I plan on starting a build thread today on the Edge, I have some things to get done during the day so keep an eye out for it tonight.

Yes it's coming. EF has been working on several new planes. 123" Extra, 88" Edge, 78" Extra, etc. The last I heard it was getting some final revisions before production. I can't wait to get to fly one.

I'm about to finish mine in the red/white/blue scheme and will do my best to get video shot and posted asap. Unfortunately I turned my last one into balsa dust before I was able to get any video.
I spent the weekend in Savannah with my good friend George Hicks (whose input I value dearly) test flying the latest revision of the Cap. We plan to get one more prototype that will incorporate a few small tweaks and then we should be ready to begin production. As I mentioned in a previous thread it has been a bit more challenging to make the Cap fly as well as our other aircraft. We've been through 2 prototypes and 3 sets of wings so far. We are very close, but I refuse to release a new aircraft until it performs to the level that I know you all expect from my company.

TEASE! When are the blue/yellow Edges coming back in? I think I like it more??? Also heard a rumor of a 48" Edge.... Interested in replacing my Slick with if all goes well.

C'mon Lee....It should be half done by now...Dang!

More blue Edges due as soon as customs releases our container (they have pulled it off the ship and are doing a full unload and inspection-figures they would pick now to do that so as to hold up our holiday sales!)
Yep 48" Edge is in production and will be here around the beginning of February.
