Yes the MARCS field is big enough for 40%ers, however the county sold the land were on, this year, to the city land fill. We're nogiating a deal for a piece of land across the belt-line behind Ho-Chunck casino. Long story.....short if it doesn't work out I'm going to be looking for somewhere to fly ie. Verona,Wi

Sorry to hear about your field. I flew there at a fly in a year and a half ago it was nice. If you move from the dump at least you won't have to worry about mid-airs with the bird.

I just swapped my Dle55 for a Da60, wow what a wake up for the plane, it used to pull slowly out of a hover now it pulls out with great authority. I was using a mejzlik 24/10 it is ripping the prop.

Happy change

Bill

Try a Falcon 24x9. It's pretty much the go-to prop for this engine.

I'm using a DA60 MTW flex header on my GP61 and it works great! The GP61/MTW RE2 pipe are a great combination on the 88" Edge IMOA. I Just switched from a Falcon 24/9 to a Mejzlik 23/10. Easy to hover and great speed for pop tops! Fergus Lin, of GP, recommended the 23/10.

Awesome prop when I used it on stock, Pitts and canister exhausts. When I switched to the pipe it ripped the 24/9 pretty easily.

Thanks a lot! Power is always not enough...but I am satisfied overall. I think the VESS Prop I am using is more suitable for a pipe setup and not muffler. Things will get better with the Falcon 24x9.

The reference will always be the DA 70 on that airframe. However I don't have the budget currently. So, I will try to take advantage of my trusty DA 60.

I am very happy with that plane and setup and I regret the fact that I did not buy some time ago.

To tell you the truth I have been inspired by Jase Dussia's videos to get that plane, so it is great investment to have such great and talented pilots in the EF team.

Kind regards,
Nikos

I am thinking of swapping out my Saito fg57ts for a DA70. the 4 stroke engine cant seen to be constantly running stable. I have to adjust the high end needle, every single flight....I don't even dare to hover just afraid it might go deadstick.

Pretty straight forward. Just mount your servo under the motor box in the cutout provided and it will be intuitive from there. You must use a 2-56 ball link on the carb throttle arm to clear the mufflers. The throttle arm is threaded for 2-56. Dubro makes a 2-56 size ball link that accepts a 4-40 push rod. That is what I used.
