When I was much younger and had a short fuse I came close but never pulled the trigger on that particular maneuver. I think walking away and cooling down would have been a much better choice but hey, we all make mistakes. My opinion, in private, if your that disgusted, stomp away but in public, keep your cool!

Not a very good pilot if you cant figure out how to set it up. I think he needs to go back to a trainer and a basic radio.

This guy needs to learn how to set up a bipe and have the patience to spend more than three flights trimming it out.

Wow you guys are really going off the deep end with this. He didn't like, it was damaged beyond what he wanted to repair, and he OWNED it.
Get off your high horses, it wasn't your damn airplane for crying out loud. Really fixed wing....spinning this into some sort of domestic abuse theory? Thats wrong on all levels |

You're right and I apologize. I edited my post to remove that portion of the comment. As a builder seeing that video just saddened me. Eventhough it did make me wonder how he'd react in other life situations where things weren't up to par with his expectations I do agree with you that it was his plane and he could do whatever he wanted with it. I stand behind my comment of learning how to trim a plane and spending more than 3 flights doing it. |

Think about this...... What example are WE, the modelers, sending to the general public about this hobby? It is ok to act like a jackass and to stomp a perfectly good airplane?? So what if it had a little damage, that is what they make super glue and covering for. Repair to daggum thing, and sell it off or give it to someone less fortunate in the hobby. It does take more than 3 flights for me to fully tweek in a new airplane. Anyone that can do it in less than 3, please inform me of your secrets. I'm still dialing in a 25 flight old Corvus. Flustering, yes it is, because I should be wringing the snot out of the airplane, instead of having to worry about deadsticks with a 7 gallon old DA120. |
