Man what an awesome time today was !!!! Thanks everyone for the help !! The club couldn't of asked for a better turn out. Just getting home from all the night shananigans ................ here are some pictures.

Awesome event, thanks everyone!

All I can say is WOW, and I mean really WOW, and that is an understatement. When I said yesterday that this would be the best event in the district in 2012 I had no idea how much I would underestimate how great this event would truly be. Anyone who even thinks of missing this event next year should really consider having their head examined. This was the best event I have attended for a long time and I'll be here next year for sure.

54 pilots had registered by nooontime, more than most events have seen in several years. There were at least 3 times that many airplanes.

I got there this morning at 8AM and the flying was already going strong. And what a great day for it too. Starting with a high thin overcast which by the early afternoon had turned to bright sunshine and blue skies prevailed for the rest of the day. And the winds were light all day long.

The AMA was also well represented not only by Andy Argenio, our District I Vice-President, Bill Unghire and myself, District I AVP's, along with Steve Brehm our District I News Editor, but also by Eric Williams, District II Vice-President and Reid Condon, District II AVP.

The steak dinner was incredible to say the least and there was plenty of it for everyone. Cody Wojcik not only dazzled us with his amazing flying skills but he manned the grill and cooked every steak to absolute perfection. All of the salads and other goodies were all homemade by the Green Mountain club members. No store bought stuff here. This was truly first class all the way.

Many thanks go to Scotty Lyons and everyone of the officers and members of the Green Mountain club who made this event happen and whose wonderful hospitality made all of us feel totally welcome. You guys are awesome hosts and have truly made the world a better place.
