This is probably a little off topic but I while were on the subject of reality T.V. , does anyone know how close we are to seeing a reality show based on our Hobby? I remember seeing a post about a year ago where someone was puttting together footage for a pilot.

So far on T.V. right now there are;

2 shows about fishing with your hands
3 shows about pawn shops
2 shows about hoarders
2 shows about gold mining
2 shows about people who live in the swamp
2 shows about ghost hunting
2 shows about logging
2 shows about picking... one of them is super popular
0 shows about RC stuff

Im sure I left a bunch out I only watch A&E, History, and discover channel.

Even if just the members of the AMA watched the show, I'm sure it would have more viewers than "Hillbilly Handfishin"

You left out the most important ones...... 3 shows about bush flying in Alaska. Lol

I watched a 2 hour show last week about rc car carpet racing? I dont remember the channel but it was pretty cool.

I know Sleepy C had something to do with that original post, I'm hoping he can chime in. would be really cool to see how the contests work and see how the real hard core pilots prepare. I maybe get out to the field once a month if I'm lucky and most of the people i meet are just puttin around with little glow models. would be cool to see details on my big screen of an event like Joe Nall, and the XFC.

I think reed timmer should use a fun jet ther fast and flys re great at high speeds mine fly at 200+iam sure it will hit it it might fly through

yes that would be awesome to have RC shows on TV. Ive always thought about it, and it would be good TV!
once a year the science channel does a special on high powered rocketry out in the desert, i love watching that!
Ive seen a couple threads about an RC tv show, people sharing their ideas and such.
i think if enough of us sent emails or letters to discovery channel or science channel, maybe they would
actually do something like that!
