Can't give you a direct comparison but I can say that it is REALLY good! I am flying it on a DLE55-RA and a 16lb airframe.

Prop is quiet, can start to hear it on a wide open flat pass. Nothing objectionable.

Thats what we found too. We also tached it at 7150, without tweeking the needles. Also went from a Xoar 22x8.

23x8 works better on the DA-50 the DLE works better IMO with a 23x9

This is correct, I mis-spoke about the 23X8, the 23X9 is better for the 55.

I usually run wood 23x8 props so I just bought the 23x8 carbon..I figured the 23x8 carbon would load a bit more than the wood due to less flex..I think its pretty sweet that the carbon version comes with nice prop covers!

Check out these threads on RC Canada Tbrum does very thourough testing! He uses lots of Falcon props!
Da120 http://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=107241
DLE55 http://www.rccanada.ca/rccforum/showthread.php?t=143528
Here is his DLE 55 results
TESTING RESULTS !!!!!!

* With the help of Bdegan and Hellflyer, we spent a few hours last week and got all the testing done! Below are the results.....

DLE55, First Run, Bowman ring, stock muffler
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7090rpm
Falcon 24x8 CF: 6580rpm
Falcon 24x8 Wood: 6480rpm
Mej 24x10 CF: 6340rpm
Menz 24x8 Wood: 6490rpm
Vess 24A Wood: 6370rpm
Xoar 24B 3D Wood: 6260rpm
Observations: Motor was very tight with noticeable friction between ring and cylinder. After 5 min of running, the friction was waay less

2nd Run, Stock muffler
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7150rpm
Observations: Motor was much more loose with less friction. 60rpm increase after only 5 minutes of running!!

DLE55, 16" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7050
Observations: Motor actually ran less rpm than stock muffler.

14" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7240rpm
Observations: Noticeable increase in rpm (200rpm), motor felt more smooth.

13.5" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7430rpm
Observations: Another huge jump in rpm (200rpm), motor needles both needed to be leaned slightly, significantly smoother operation

13" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7480rpm
Observations: Another jump in rpm (50rpm), motor needles both needed to be leaned slightly... starting to get close to optimal, since gains are flattening out.

12.5" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 23x8 CF: 7520rpm
Falcon 24x8 CF: 7180rpm
Xoar 24B 3D Wood: 6720rpm
Observations: Motor was ultra-smooth after further leaning of the needles. All 3 props were now showing a whooping 500-600rpm gain over stock muffler

12" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 24x8 CF: 7150rpm
Observations: Slight drop in rpm, but loss of midrange and slow spool-up and rougher running - noticeable observations that motor was now off the pipe.

11" Header Length, ES Composite Pipe
Falcon 24x8 CF: 7000rpm
Observations: Very clear it was off the pipe - very rough, poor transition, boggy. Needles were not effective.
