But seriously do this first practice on sim second buy some crack and yak it up and in about a month PAPOW no gyro needed .If the plane flies so badly that it wont hover with out one buy something else with a better design.

Gyros belong on helicopters, not airplanes.

Learn to fly your airplane, don't cover up any bad tendancies.

Our 3D philosphy

I guess the original post rubbed us all a little wrong.
Most of us take pride in the skill level achived learning 3d.
When most of us first saw 3d.....we wanted to fly like that.
We broke many a plane in the process ! These skills take time and patience
I don't know the point at which the pilot is not the pilot anymore when using a gyro.

Although you may "enjoy" it more without the frustrations that gyros can present... And most of that frustration will come from the old schoolers when they find out you are using one LOL
