Do you mean Gas or Glow? I know one was flown with a glow setup, but not gas...

The plane is an electric only. I order to install an IC engine you would have to seriously modiffy the motor box.

IMO, the construction is very light, just strong enough for electric power. Any vibration from an IC power plant might be problematic? One may want to look at the airframe first?

One of the original prototypes was designed for a glow engine, however once the plane was put into production it went to electric only. A glow or gas engine would destroy this airframe, and with the new cheaper batteries on the market it is actually pretty affordable to do the electric setup.

Congrats, you'll love it. If you have any questions about anything from the build to final setup fire away. Are you using the Torque Silver Bullet?

yes I will be using the torque silver bullet with the silver series great planes 80 amp hv esc....I have heard nothing bad about these so I'm willing to give it a try.
The tail wheel set up I got with my plane is different than the one in the manual and different than one i've ever seen before....not quite sure if I want to use it or not....

The Silver Bullet is a very good motor and 80amp speed control is all you need. The APC 21-14e or 20.5-14e is what you want, or you can go with a very light carbon prop, I'm changing to a Falcon V2 the same size for this season. The tailwheel has change since the manual was done, it is actually a good one, I know most guys flying the plane are using it including myself, it has held up great for me and works well on both grass and asphalt. It's very easy to install, simply drill a hole at the rear of the fuse and glue it in place. There is a hole on the bottom of the rudder under the covering for the included ball link. I'll attach a picture of what it should look like.
