Re: I have finally made it on the Giants!

Dean, you have a point.
Allow me to step back a moment, and just say, I am open to learn.
I have been called an arrogant punk many times before, I do believe I deserve that title. I shall relax a bit.

If I can add some incite into a topic, then I will. If I can not, well, I will remain silent.

Please say hello to Professors Tommy and Ray for me.

Colonel,

Are you referring to Thomas Goldstein from LAW?
If so.. he's wonderful. He recently married his assistant Kathleen McGillicuddy.
It was a wonderful wedding.
Still the best lectures, and still the dry sense of humor he has always been known for.

I'm sorry, but I am afraid I do not know a Professor Ray.

Did you attend?

I am sure it was a surprise to Mrs. Goldstein! Professor Ray Magliozzi can be found either in the Ya-ahd, or at the Tute.

Something tells me he is not as smart as he says he is. Just very good with a Thesaurus.

HarvardGraduate RC,

I am impressed, it's a brave thing to accept one's flaws; I should know I have many myself.

Look forward to seeing more of your posts. The quote you posted on page two is obviously one in which you believe in;

"We need confidence in self to make accurate decisions. Confidence comes from accepting the self as one is. Confident people know a mistake is an opportunity to try in another way. Openness and flexibility is also needed. This comes from confidence and self respect. It means I should listen to others and not impose my views. The more you know, the less you tend to speak."

Regards,

Dean...
