hiperbipe plans

Here is a pdf file of the plans im using the wing plan im NOT using as i did a new one in cad and it being laser cut the fuselage is built the old way. Maybe i'll do one up in cad as well the plans show the fuselage built out of 1/2 in. foam. mine is trust up like the real one . If you print the plans they should give you a fuselage 72 in. long that 163% which is the size im building.

Good luck and have fun Dr.E.

Dr. Evil; you and I must have similar sick minds. I have a 50cc sized Hiperbipe on my electronic drawing board at the moment too for a DLE 55. You are obviously much father ahead of mine. Are you going to use scale ailerons or are you adjusting for more 3D type flight?

I will keep an eye out for you progress - best of luck with it.

Mark.

Hi Mark the ailerons are not scale there a little bigger as i'm using the same wings as the pitts 12 . I'm only modifying the tip and the span of jtecs 26% pitts wing its a good airfoil and no need to reinvent the wheel here. I hope to get about the same flight performance . Keep in tuch it should be fun .

See ya Dr.E.

Skylight and other door done, cargo door next . The doors open all the way around and with a working cargo door i will be able to have a scale cockpit and be able to hid the raido gear.

motor box

The motor box is going to be removable it will hold the fuel tank, ignition, and throttle servo. I like to use 1/4 inch foam board to mock things up its cheaper than wasting the wood.

Now to see how the landing gear will mount.

Note: the engine mount is for a DA50/60 of DLE 50/55

Jerry,

He gave Kevin that advice on the way to Burlington last weekend. He has another one that he will have to deliver. Not fit for print
