I love it. I always said I would never do another composite airframe, but I find myself looking at the Krill Katana quite a bit lately. Could you post some info as far as pricing, quality and what you thought of the build?

JeeUm,

I will have to tell you in Striling, including delivery from Krill I paid £857, so take off delivery of £160, plane cost roughly £700, the build I cannot take credit for, I am a useless builder so it was sent to a good friend who did an amasing job, you can see a full build thread here at http://www.3drc.info/3drcdb/viewtopic.php?t=1673 the thread contains loads of pictures, well worth a look if considering this model.

Set up

DA100 Zimmerman Cans
28*10 PT Prop
2 x 8411 on rudder
2 x 8511 on Elevators
4 x Hitec 5945 in wings ( 2 in each)
powerbox 40/24
2 x 2700 batteries
1 x DS811 on throttle
1 x Hitec 645 on choke

Not been weighed yet, and not flown yet, weather has been a bit crappy in the UK for the last few weeks.

Jeeum, if your thinking about a Krill, the man to talk to would be John G. I talked to him at length this past summer about them when I was considering going that route. Definetly a nice bird.

Nice looking Katana. There's one here in East Texas, excellent flight performance. Did you hear that Ando?

Congrats on the new plane, i really like the yellow scheme. i will be starting my build shortly. i have the seba scheme as well but mine is white/green/red. i am curious to know was there anything out of the ordinary that you had to modify, or anything that you would suggest be done to the kit. I am going with 5955tg's all around, smartfly PE/superreg, fromeco 2400's x3, and powerplant will be BME 115. any advice or look-outs would be much appreciated. BTW pictures dont do this bird justice imo. in person this bird is drool worthy!
