Default How to find local help

I a very interested in flying IMAC. I had the privilege of meeting Wayne Matthews and talking with him at NATS this past year and he convinced me to give it a shot. So first off I would like to say thanks to Wayne for taking the time to talk to me and giving me the bug. Next I would like to have him meet my girlfriend she is pissed at the cost of this new plane. JK.. Anyway back to the question. I was wondering if there is anyway to find people in my area who fly IMAC. I fly with a smaller club and know one in the club flies IMAC. I have not been flying all that long, so i don't know many people. Any help would be great.
I live in PA just north of Willow Grove.

Thanks for the help in advanced

Rodney

Hey Rodney, I believe Alan Walter lives down around the Philly area. Not sure what club he flies at though. I can find out for you so you two can get in touch. Not sure how far you might drive to practice, but Jon Leyland lives in Doylestown and practices at a field just below Quakertown. Some of the fields around Philly are crowded and makes for tough Imac practice. The Quakertown field isn't super far away and is not that crowded.

Shoot me a P-Mail with your regular e-mail address and I'll try to get you in touch with those guys.

There are a few of us that live up in various parts of the Poconos that fly Imac. During the season we meet up at different fields several times in the spring/summer to practice together. When the time comes, you're more than welcome to meet up with us. In the mean time, we're ready to help with all your questions.

Welcome to Imac......you'll really enjoy it!

..............Mark

Rodney,

First off, welcome to IMAC. I'm sure you will find it to be a ton of fun. Because you are in PA, you reside in the North East region. Why don't you shoot an email to your regional director (Joe Bobeck) and ask him who is active in your part of the region? You can email him at:

imacne@mini-iac.com

Also, the North East home page of the IMAC website has a number of other contacts in PA, so I would start by contacting all of those guys to see who is flying. Here is where you can find that page:

Good luck and keep everyone posted on your experiences - whether bad or good!

Ken
