Default Real Flight G3 on an iMac Intel Core Duo?

Has anyone had any experiance running G3 on a iMac with the Intel processor and Boot Camp installed? I would like to have the sim but don't need to spend the bucks and find out it won't work.

Short (rude) answer: Search a bit or go to the Knife Edge forums where this has been discussed at great length lately.

Short (friendly) answer: Go for it! It works great...

Longer (friendly) answer: Go for it! It works great... I've got G3, G3.5, AFPD, FS One, FMS and ReflexXTR all running nicely on my 20" iMac, 2.6 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 1 Gb RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon x1600. For what it's worth, they all also run great on a ridiculously expensive Mac Pro tower with two 3Ghz Core 2 Duo processors and four x1900 video cards... Various other G3 users have had good success with a Mac Book Pro, and limited success (photofield only - a bit stuttery) use on a newer loaded-up Mac Mini. I think I've posted some of this stuff here already, but I know I've been writing a few lines about Mac OS and Boot Camp at RC Universe and Knife Edge too.

For less than $2K the newer Intel Based iMacs are GREAT machines. I've been a Unix fan for ages, the hardware is amazing, and now that I can dual-boot into WinDoze, it's the best of all worlds. As a side note, the only time I ever boot into WinXP is to fly a sim, or to transfer TiVo-to-go files to my phone!

Hope this helps!
