aerofly is too easy compared to real rc IMO... i sold mine, and bought g3.5. and with some tweaking, i feel that g3.5 is better. I am about to order g4 and see what its talkin about.. i hope it is atleast as good a 3.5

but hey, to each their own..... with aerofly or g3.5, you wont hate either.
I have flown the fsone, and to be honest....i think it is horrible.. but again, to each their own.

Aerofly is pretty good. The only bad part is constantly setting up the transmitter/input settings for a new plane. Both G3 and AFPD fly well. I like G3 better though. G3 keeps the settings for each model.

When is G4 going to come out? I thought they said in October, they only have a few days left.

You would need to go to www.knifeedge.com to see the specs. I just bought a Dell XPS and it runs it no problem.

A "Radeon 9200 series" shouldn't have any problems running it at all. I was running G3.5 on my older computer which had a 5 year old card in it called a geforce TI-4600 , which at the time ( 5 years ago , was top of the line) The card i use now in this computer is an overclocked EVGA 7800 GTX.....which is light years above that card , and i pull around 90-110 frames per second with all the details set on high.

I haven't looked into the G4 to much yet....but is there a lot of new different airplanes in this version? Or did they just caryy a lot of the older models from G3-3.5 over to this one?

I did get an email from them , saying that i could get a 4100.00 rebate on G4 , since i owned G3.5.....which is cool i guess. I think i'll probably get it.

BAD NEWS though.....from what i understand is , that all the "expansion packs" will work on G4 from the previous G3-3.5 sim , BUT.....the old "ADD ON" CD's , like 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , and 5 WILL NOT be compatible. That kind of sucks!

Personally, either is a good sim. Both have their pros and cons.

I have recentily tried both and by far the g 3.5 is awesome . I tried the fs sim and it is not realistic at all out of the box as far as flying realistic compared to the g3.5 . The realflight downloaded on my computer in 10 minutes and the fs took forever .The physics are great on the g3.5 .

I just bought a new Toshiba with two 2 gig processors, 4 gig of ram, and a nvidia 7900 video card. I had a 3 year old toshiba that ran 3.5 with no problem. Well, when I got the new computer, g3.5 "strobed" every 4 seconds, I couldn't believe it. So I bought g4 hoping it would work better on vista ultimate, to no avail. I was devastated. I was going into the hospital for a two level lower back fusion, and needed a sim!! Neither tech supports were able to help, realflight nor toshiba. I ended up fixing to problem by removing a bunch of the windows services that are pre-installed, and are hardle ever used. I found that now I am kicking myself for buying g4. I am an IMAC and freestyle flyer. The improvements to G4 seem to me to be mostly the water stuff, which I will never use. The one thing I did like, but is not that useful, is being able to import multiple planes at once. But, you will only use that once, and if you have any errors, it stops and doesn't try the rest.

the problem isn’t the trim it's that models made by different people will have different decalage on the tail surfaces, if you trim the model using the hor-stab incidence then all the models will trim out the same for good

unless you are talking about the afp tx box, that thing doesnt hold calibtarion well, i use my own real tx, which is probably the best way to go no matter that sim you get.
