If that's all that's holding you back - I think you can solve that one.

(stop trading for planes)

Ken,

Sorry to be so late in a reply, I haven't seen this thread in awhile.

Yes, it's the latest 35% design and I can't say enough good about how it flies. I've been trying to get a few other people to fly it so they can relate the experience rather than myself. It truly is an excellent plane and is set up around single sevos surface installations that help to keep the cost down. For those that want them a Red Bull graphics package is available, along with another color scheme that can be seen at www.wildharerc.com in the products section.

Works with any good 85 to 100cc engine. Kept light it would be a good fun fly plane with a strong 75. It feels "over powered" (if that can be said about any plane) with a DL 100 and has enough power to perform unlimited vertical rolling maneuvers. Very small mixes need for pitch or roll coupling. My max pitch coupling elevator mix is at 3% and the roll coupling mix has the ailerons at about the same. Very stable and will IMAC competitively if desired. Absolutely zero wing rock in harrier maneuvers. If you have wing rock, check your thumbs because it's being input by the flier.

End weights will be between 24 and 26 pounds depending on user installed items. Wing area at 1,998 squares with 102-1/2" of span. She has a very long can tunnel for those that have the desire to use it. Lands like a feather.

Overall a very fun plane to fly and has the ability to do some serious flying for those that want to go that route. I'm not good enough to say how serious a competitior she would be in IMAC but I feel she would do pretty well in the right hands up to advanced.

I've talked to Jason Shulman at comp-arf and they will do one custom (graphics and all) but they cost a ton. Also Pilot-RC will do a custon without logos - http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/ns/aero/pilotrc/. TBM can also order custon schemes.

P.S. here is one that someone made and I made some modifications to (first is before, 2nd is after changes).

We've done a few Red Bull decals for customers and all have been very gratefull, Here's a small electric jobby with the RB scheme, we busy with a 77" seagull edge 540 at the mo'

Red Bull are not going to knock at your door and ask you to strip your plane (life's too short, just do it)

Hi there,

sorry so late in the thread, just joined. Also obsessed with red bull Edge 540, and found a company who does official Red Bull planes.

www.flitework.at

I got my midi 540 there with everything except receiver, and it is a beautifully made model.

Looking forward to a larger scale Extra or Zlinn when they make a few more.

Graham
