Default Used Wild Hare 80" Yak 54

Hi all,

New guy here, nice site. I am going to look at this plane and may buy it. How high quality are the WH planes? Is the wood used good quality, ect...? I've heard good things but have no first hand experience. I have been told that the plane has never been damaged/crashed, ect.... The owner did tell me that it has a few minor dings from transportation ect but all my other planes had that so as long as their not too bad it's no big deal. The guy told me $150 for the plane and that seems like a good deal expecially since all the work to put it together has been done, ect.....

The owner seems like a nice guy and also seems to be very knowlegable but I want some of you guys opinions also. Thanks for the help.

Seems like a killer deal as long as it's not ragged out.

Ghost,
WH planes are built to last. Tom F has a fantastic plane that flies great. Like Jaybird and Sleepy say Go For It. You can't go wrong.

My uncle has on of the original WH 540's (serial #8) and it's still going strong. You can't go wrong with WH.
