Default Mini FuntanaX

Just finished up and maidened my MFX. I think it's gonna be a sweet flyer. I used all of the guts from my EF Extra but the aileron servos. It felt nose heavy and just would not lock in to a harrier or hover very well. I had the battery all the way back against the tube. I opened it up and glued in the battery tray that I pried out of my old Extra. Being this open on the bottom shouldnt affect the flight charecteristics should it?
Thanks
Brian

I maidened mine tonight. I had the same issue, to nose heavy. It flies great kE, I had no coupling at all with left rudder and just a little with right rudder.

I don't think that the open hatch would affect much of the characteristics......

It is very smooth. I was expecting more pop from the rudder, maybe getting the CG back will help.
BTW, mine was just the opposite, pulled to the belly with left rudder, arrow straight with right. Weird how the same airframes behave differently sometimes

Maybe I remember backwards. I will fly it tomorrow if it warms up a little.
