That three foot servo arm was the sole cause of his tumble. It dug in before the mains causing the nose-over. That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

(did I say it alright Patrick?)

Thanks for exposing me as a stik pilot buddy. You know that paybacks are a bitch!

Lemme 'splain my position. After 25 years away from the sport, I am awestruck by the progression of technology and piloting skills that my friends and this site have revieled to me. After a very disappointing encounter with a scary FlatOut joined to a 25 year-old Futaba, I decided to drop back and embrace my building chops with something that would help me find my thumbs. Thus the Stevens Aero Stik. I plan to fly it as hard as I can, creating my own style of flying that will be known across the land as the "Slo Huck." Forget the death slide guys, it ain't gonna happen with this pigeon.

I'm aiming my sights on the Fiberlite Extra 540. Just like Fyin Woobutcher's (but prettier). Nice looking kit. I like WB's spin on it.

Gimme a few months and don't laugh me off the field, I'll promise not to disappoint.

Les, we're gonna laugh, thats just our style. Just laugh with us and have fun, thats what it's all about. There isn't anything wrong with being a stick pilot, we've all been there and had fun doing it. Hope we can get something put together for thurs. so we can see if that stick will fly!

Bad day at Wagner Field...

Pale_Rider_Va was actually the one holding the tranny at the time of the incident. I'll let him step up and tell the whole story. Here are a few shots I got with my cell phone. Yes, sadly, that is the "hybrid" Ultimate referenced many times in this thread.

Flyin Woodbutcher still manages to smile.

Parts is parts. Yes, it will fly again. It's gonna have to wait its turn, though.

Screaming DA150 lays silent. Sniff.
