Hello "Avionics",

It sounds like you have the urge to go fast! Fred French used an Aerrow 200 engine that he built himself on his "blazing fast" NA-50 (not really an AT-6). And he builds race motors for several of the giant scale air race contingent under the name of "Fast Freddie's Performance Engines". You should be able to reach him at fred1@thegateway.net.

Also, Ralph Cunningham of RC Igntions builds hot motors including modified Herbransons. You can reach him at rc@rcignitions.com .

These guys can get you going with a killer powerplant!

The official website for giant scale air racing is the USRA at www.usrainfo.org.

You'll find it to be a good resource for what you're trying to do.

There's another source for Herbrandson-type engines. Dick Sizer makes a very nice engine based on the same cylinders called a Black Flame. I think he makes a 280cc size. Dale Herbrandson is a great guy but I'm not sure he has any parts left.

I'll ask around for Fred French's new email and post it here if somebody doesn't beat me to it.
